AUSTRALIAN STANDARDS
Enviro Rubber wheelchair ramps are manufactured to Australian Standards 1428. 1-2009 or as per the OT’s recommendation.
- Threshold Ramps (Ramps up to 35mm) – Suggested Gradient 1:8
- Step Ramps (Ramps up to 190mm) – Suggested Gradient 1:10
- High Step Ramps (Ramps over 190mm) – Suggested Gradient 1:14
- Ramps steeper than 1:6G should not be constructed, as the average user will not be able to negotiate them.
