The Sileo Aged Care Bed offers an adjustable height range, effortlessly adapting to the individual needs of residents. Its electric hi-lo mechanism ensures that caregivers can access it with ease, while also enhancing resident safety. Featuring a robust scissor lift mechanism fortified with a cross-support structure, this bed delivers a smooth and stable vertical movement. This design minimises the risk of damage to walls or equipment and enhances the overall durability of the bed. An inbuilt base extension is a convenient feature that can extend the platform’s length by up to 200 mm, catering to resident comfort without compromising the bed’s structural integrity. For added convenience during personal care routines, such as foot or hair care, caregivers will appreciate the easily removable head and foot panels in a Golden Oak finish. Constructed from a single piece of powder-coated steel, the bed’s mainframe ensures maximum strength and longevity.
The slatted frame promotes optimal airflow around the mattress, preventing moisture buildup and regulating patient temperature, crucial for comfort and pressure injury prevention. Equipped with central locking castors, the Sileo Bed facilitates smooth maneuverability while reducing dirt and dust accumulation, ensuring effortless cleaning and operation. The intuitive hand controller is lightweight and water-resistant, featuring a user-friendly soft-touch button interface for easy adjustment of height, position, and contouring with a single touch. It includes an inbuilt hanging hook for convenient storage and access. An electronic lockout function caters to patients with cognitive impairments, activated by a tamper-proof magnetic swipe key.
